My view
The Daiwa 7ht mag is a powerful long-distance casting reel. The 7ht mag is an all-round reel as you can adjust it to any venue or even any person. For £220 the millionaire is a reel for the Christmas wish list. Used by a great angler such as Barney Wright he quoted “An all round reel and a great value for its money. The beast is an ideal for the ultimate beach caster who wants that bit extra distance to cast into the hard to reach gulleys, or even for those anglers who are out there with the great casting technique and can’t find the perfect reel that can take the strain of most types fishing…Look no further.
The 7ht mag has a genius mind of its own with a braking system called magnofuge, where the reel adjusts the magnets during casting for the ultimate cast. I have used this reel plentiful of times on mixed types of grounds and never found a problem with adjusting it to any condition. After every session I wash it down with soapy water and oil it once in a blue moon but it has never let me down with its outstanding performance. All in all this real is a great value for money and the ultimate casting machine.
