Hooking Sandeel

1. Cut of their tail and head (Don’t discard the head)
2. Cut to size you want to the size of your hook.
3. Thread through tail end first.
4. Pull through and make sure you cover the hook.
5. Finally use thin baiting thread and bind to your hook.

 

Peeling a crab

1. Look for crabs with signs of peeling on the bottom of it’s back between it’s hind legs.
2. Once found slowly grab the crab behind the hind legs so it cant knip you.
3. Next remove front claws then all of its legs(hard part done)    You can use large crab claws for bait
4. Now slowly peel the back and then the undercarridge off.
5. Cut crab to suitable sizes for target fish.
6. Insert the peice of crab onto a baiting needle
7. Begin to tighten up with baiting thread until it’s very tight.
8. Slide crab onto your hook and make sure the barb is showing.
